Other comments: Brokskad has a vigesimal system. Brokskad has been influenced by Ladakhi, the nearby Tibetan language. Note the 'umlaut '<ä> might be equivalent to IPA symbol <æ>. Brokskad is a very divergent variety of Shina. It is the oldest surviving member of the ancient Dardic language. Brokskad is spoken by approximately 10,400 speakers in Jammu and Kargil and Ladakh districts along Indus river; Garkhon area, including Batalik, Chulichan, Dah, Darchiks, and Gurgurdo villages, Kashmir state, India as well as Pakistan.
