Other comments: Beezen (Bɛ̀zɛ̀n) is spoken by approximately 450 speakers in North West region: Menchum division, Furu-Awa subdivision, Kpep (Beezen) village, Cameroon. Beezen (Bɛ̀zɛ̀n) number system is based on five, the numbers 6-9 are composed of 5+1, 2, 3, 4. Numeral roots 1- 5 never appear in their bare form but always have an agreement prefix. (ī- and bō- are agreement morphemes) ōgbū ‘pass’can be interpreted as ‘plus’. |
