Other comments: Assamese has a decimal system similar to that of Bengali. For numbers 15 to 18, there is distinction between u and o based on dialect variation. Assamese or Asamiya is spoken by approximately 15,300,000 in Arunachal Pradesh state, Assam state, Meghalaya state, Nagaland state and West Bengal state, India as well as Bhutan. |
