Other comments: Ahtna or Ahtena is an endangered language only spoken by about 15 speakers out of 500 ethnic population. The Ahtna people's homeland called Atna Nenn', is located in the Copper River area of southern Alaska, and the name Ahtna derives from the local name for the Copper River. Ahtna has a decimal system. The above set is used to count things, there is another set for counting people. There are some dialectical differences on numbers.
