Other comments: Abon or Abong, Abõ, Ba’ban is spoken by approximately 1,000 speakers in Taraba state: Sardauna LGA, Abong town, east of Baissa, Nigeria. Abon might have a vigesimal system based on twenty similar to that of Tiv. Abon has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 10 years ago, not sure if they are still using traditional numbers after ten or now use Hausa, Fulani or Nigerian English numerals after five or ten. New data for numbers after five or ten is required. |
