Other comments: Abanyom or Abanyum, Bakor, Befun, Bofon, Mbofon is spoken by approximately 12,000 speakers in Cross River state: Ikom LGA, Abangkang, Nigeria. Abanyom has a vigesimal system based on twenty and a single word for number fifteen similar to that of Ekajuk. Abanyom has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 10 years ago, not sure if they are still using traditional numbers after ten or now use Nigerian English numerals after five or ten. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
