Other comments: Abanglekuo or Obanliku may has a quinary /vigesimal system. New data beyond ten needed. Abanglekuo or Obanliku is a Bendi language of Nigeria spoken by about 65,000 speakers in Cross River state. There are five dialects or varieties: Bisu, Busi, Bishiri, Basang and Bebi. All Abanglekuo speakers have some understanding of the neighboring Bete-Bendi language, mainly through learning it at the market; the Obanliku and Bete-Bendi languages also had an average of 70% lexical similarity. |
