The only real top-range international standard hotel in Manokwari is the newly opened Aston. The Swiss Belhotel is now the second-best in town, while next down in tbe list, but with the most beautiful location , is the Mansinam Beach Hotel. Other than these, there is a wide choice of mid and lower range hotels, though none stand out as being exceptional in any way, and at any given time, a certain percentage of the promised facilities (water, airconditioning, TV, minibar, etc.) are likely to be broken down — just grin and bear it. Prices are around 50% to 100% more than what you'd expect from similar standard hotels in Indonesia proper, but fluctuate frequently, and are negotiable.

Transportation will be provided to and from the conference venue from the following two hotels listed below: the Swiss Belhotel and the Mansinam Beach Hotel. Most of the other hotels listed are within easy walking distance from the Swiss Belhotel, so participants staying at those hotels wishing to avail themselves of the transportation should make use of the Swiss Belhotel pick-up point. An exception is the Aston Niu, which is about a 15 minute drive out of town; people staying there should make use of the Aston Niu shuttle which can connect them with the Swiss Belhotel.

A few kilometers northeast of town, in a village called Kwawi, beautifully situated on the waterfront facing Mansinam island. Watersports, billiards, karaoke, a good restaurant over the water, and occasional wifi. The cheaper rooms are clean and modern, but very small and with no view.
