Other comments: The Yug or Yugh speakers formerly lived in middle reaches and tributaries of the Yenisei River, Turukhan area, Vorogovo settlement, Krasnoyarsk krai, East Siberia. The last speaker died in the 1970s (Werner 2012), extinct since the 1980s. The Yugh numeral system is similar to Ket numeral system. Like Ket, Yugh also has four tones. |
