Other comments: Uare or Kwale is spoken by approximately 1,300 speakers in Rigo Inland district, southeast of Port Moresby, Central province, Papua New Guinea. Uare has a five-base system. There is a distinct numeral 'ɡɐubɐ̃nɐ̃nɐ' for the tens, which might be a loanword from the neighboring Sinaugoro language, an Austronesian language. |
