Other comments: Tanimuca-Retuarã or Tanimuca-Letuama has a counting system up to 20. Tanimuca-Letuama is spoken by approximately  1,800 speakers, Retuarã more monolingual than Tanimuca. Ethnic population: 1,280, in Guacayá and Oiyaka rivers (tributaries of the Mirití-Paraná), Apaporis, Mirití-Paraná, and Popeyaca rivers near mouth of Pira river below Popeyaca, Amazonas and Vaupés departments, Colombia.
