Other comments: Tabo, also known as Waia (Waya), is a Papuan language of Western Province, Papua New Guinea, just north of the Fly River delta. The language has also been known as Hiwi and Hibarada, Tabo has a population with approximately 3,000 speakers. Tabo counting system processes a 2-cyclic one. No number word for 5 is available, not sure if they are still using old traditional numbers or body tally after 2 or now use Tok Pisin numerals after two. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
