Other comments: Siroi is spoken by approximately 1,300 speakers in Saidor district,

Madang province, Papua New Guinea. Siroi has a base five counting system. It is based on the hand and five fingers. Nowadays, beyond 5 they mostly use Tok Pisin but they can also continue with ‘one hand completed and one finger’, etc. The Tok Pisin / English numerals are like the Englishː eleven, twelve, etc. Spelling varies a bit.
