Other comments: Saep is spoken by approximately 550 speakers in Gowar river area, Rai coast, east of Madang, Madang province, Papua New Guinea.

Saep has a traditional digit-tally one with a basic numerals set (1, 2, 3, 4). The number word for 5 is 'wambe' which contains a 'hand' morpheme 'wam-',

The number word for 10 is 'wam abode', i.e. 'hand (s) two'. The word 'ani' means 'foot'.

The word 'sime' means 'man' and 'si.me 'mok.ᵑɡo' means 'dead man' The word 'diŋ.ɡek'

may be related to ''dibiŋɡo'', which means finger or toe. The word 'kaba' mean and.
