Other comments: South Saami has a decimal numeral system. Southern or South Sámi is the southwestern most of the Sámi languages, and is spoken in Norway and Sweden by approximately 300 speakers out of 600 Ethnic population. It is an endangered language; the strongholds of this language are the municipalities of Snåsa, Røyrvik, Røros (Trøndelag, Central Norway) and Hattfjelldal (Nordland, Northern Norway) in Norway, as well as some in Sweden. |
