Other comments: Pyu or Ineisine is a language isolate spoken in Papua New Guinea. As of 2000, the language had about 100 speakers. It is spoken in Biake No. 2 village (4.019117°S 141.033561°E) of Biake ward, Green River Rural LLG in Sandaun Province, Papua New Guinea. Pyu has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 4 years ago, not sure if they are still using old traditional numbers or body tally after 4 or now use Tok Pisin numerals after 4. New data for numbers after four is required. |
