Other comments: Nanubae or Alfendio is spoken by approximately 1,300 speakers in Imanmeri (4.646309°S 143.604125°E), Wambrumas (4.726468°S 143.564188°E), and Yamandim (4.73418°S 143.611984°E) villages of Karawari Rural LLG, East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea. Nanubae has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 3 years ago, not sure if they are still using old traditional numbers or body tally after 3 or now use Tok Pisin numerals after 3. New data for numbers after four is required. |
