Other comments: Miyako is an endangered language spoken by older adults only in Okinawa prefecture: south; Ikema, Irabu, Kurima, Minna, Miyako, Ogami, and Tarama islands. Miyako has a decimal system. The above data are taken from Ikema Miyakoan dialect. Note that 1 to 19 are vernacular words; 20 to 2000 are loan words from Japanese.
