Other comments: Melpa or Hagan has a 8-cycle system with vestiges of 2-, 4-, and 5-cycles. The Melpa data have several variations and show the complexity. Melpa (also written Medlpa) is a Papuan language spoken by about 130,000 people predominantly in Mount Hagen and the surrounding district of Western Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. |
