Other comments: Mekwei (Menggwei), or Moi, is a Papuan language of Jayapura Regency, Indonesia. It is spoken by about 1,200 speakers in Kendate, Maribu, Sabron Dosay, and Waibrong villages. Mekwei has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 10 years ago, not sure if they are still using old traditional numbers after 10 or now use Papua Malay numerals after 10. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
