Other comments: Bian Marind or Upper Bian Marind is spoken by about 3,000 speakers in Sanayu village in upper Bian river area, Merauke regency, Papua province, Indonesia. Upper Bian Marind has a counting system similar to that of Coastal Marind, but the word for 'foot' is 'tekam'. |
