Other comments: Mandobo Atas together with Mandobo Bwah has a population with approximately 30,000 speakers in Boven Digul regency, between Tanahmerah and Mindiptanah towns, toward Fly river border in Papua New Guinea, Papua province, Indonesia. Mandobo Atas might have aa binary system and a body-part tally system similar to that of Mandobo Bwah. Mandobo Atas has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 10 years ago, not sure if they are still using old traditional numbers or body tally after ten or now use Papuan Malay numerals after ten. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
