Other comments: Eastern Lawa is spoken by approximately by approximately 7,000 speakers in many villages in Hot district, Chiang Mai province, Thailand. Eastern Lawa has a decimal system, the above data was taken from Bo Lung Lawa dialect of the Eastern Lawa. This language still retained their own numeral system and have not borrowed numerals from Tai language, except for the 1000. |
