Other comments: Kraol has a decimal numeral system, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 are loanwords from Thai language. For numeral 9, a voiced stop before the final nasal is sometimes pronounced, the same as in many Kraol words. So, it can be [cɪn] or [cɪdn], depending on the person, or how fast people are speaking. I suppose the voiced stop is not phonological. The data is taken from Sambour district, Srae Chis commune, Kratié province, Cambodia. |
