Other comments: Kandawo is spoken by about 4,000 speakers in Chimbu province, Madang province, and Western Highlands province, Papua New Guinea. Nowadays, the Kandawo people only use the first 4 numbers. We will be going to the village in 3 weeks or so and I can ask older people about their numbering system. |
