Other comments: Blagar is spoken by approximately 11,000 speakers in east Pantar, north Pura, and south Ternate islands, East Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. Blagar has a decimal system. Numbers 8 and 9 might be derived from '10 minus 2' and '10 minus 1' respectively. Numbers ''hundred'' and ''thousand'' are loanwords from Indonesian. The above data was based on Dolap dialect. |
