Other comments: Baruga, also known ambiguously as Bareji, spoken by about 2,500 speakers in the Dove village of Oro Province, in the "tail" of Papua New Guinea. The four rather divergent dialects are Tafota, Daghoro, Bareji, Mado. Baruga has three distinct words for the nume Whilst the numeral 4 appears to have the construction 2 + 2 'enunge component morphemes are not identical to the morpheme for 2, 'ungaga'. word for 5 is 'ingo yoveni' where 'ingo' means 'hand'. Similarly, 10 is yoveni' meaning 'hands two' or 'hands all'.
