Other comments: ǁAni or Handa-Khwe, Handakwe-Dam, Handá, Handádam, Ts’exa, Ts’éxa, ǀAnda, ǁAnikhwe is spoken by approximately 1,000 speakers in North West district: Khwai river, Mababe; near Khwedam language area, Botswana. ǁAni speakers only use original terms for the numerals 1-4. Sometimes a descriptive term is used for ‘five’, though speakers usually laugh when they use it in elicitation. For numerals higher than five, English, Tswana or Yeyi terms are used.
