Other comments: Agob, also known as Dabu, is a Papuan language of Western Province, Papua New Guinea, just north of the Fly River delta. The Agöb languages are a group of Pahoturi languages spoken in eastern Morehead Rural LLG, Western Province, Papuan New Guinea, along with the Idi language, form a dialect chain with the Idi and Agob dialects proper at the ends of the chain, has a population for over 2,400 speakers. Agob has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 5 years ago, not sure if they are still using old traditional numbers or body tally after 5 or now use Tok Pisin numerals after 5. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
