Other comments: Southern Mazahua has a traditional vigesimal numeral system but they only keep traditional numbers from 1 to 10. The Spanish loans from 11 onwards are not recorded forms, I just filled in the usual Mexican-Spanish pronunciation, since speakers are all bilingual. The forms from Lia are not correctly transcribed, they should be basically the same as in this corpus. There are distinctive tones on the first syllable of the radical (H. L, HL, LH).

Other comments: Central Mazahua has a vigesimal numeral system. The old data was

collected in 1600.

Note thatː  Pal = palatalized; BF = base form; L = ligature etc.

Stem-initial and internal palatalization is common in mazahua: t ʧ etc.
