Other comments: Dobu has a quinary counting system. Now the preference is to use English numbers. The simple numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 and 20 might still be used frequently now. The word toʔebweu or ebweu tomotoi means 'one man'. 40 is tomoluwa. |
