Other comments: Candoshi has a counting system up to twenty. Above 20 numerals rarely were used, but were possible, using following patternː 21 = mínam aráɡich kutsás íptaro ''one with both feet''. Voiced stops are pronounced with an nasal onset. Vowels areː i, a, o, and u voiceless high back. Word accent is always on the first or second syllable. |
