Workshop July 2008: Cayenne (at the SCL/SPCL meeting)
From Apics
We will hold a one-day-workshop adjacent to the SCL/SPCL meeting in Cayenne (French Guyana) on
- Monday, 28 July 2008, 9h-15h (with a lunch break).
Our workshop will be before the official conference start on Monday evening (see conference website).
This workshop is open to all conference participants interested in the APiCS (Atlas of Pidgin and Creole Language Structures) project, so not only for APiCS contributors.
The workshop will consist of two sessions:
- In the first session (9h-11h) Magnus Huber, one of the APiCS editors, will give an introduction to the project.
- In the second session (11h-15h, with lunch break) Magnus will show how to work smoothly and efficiently with the 2008 version of the APiCS Questionnaire.
As part of the workshop will be an introduction to the practical work with the APiCS Questionnaire, it would be good if you bring your laptop along (if possible).
As soon as we have more information about who will attend the workshop, we will pass on this information to the participants. You may want to organize yourselves in advance.
